Creation: A Biblical View. Ron Kosar will lead a 12-week discussion and multimedia course to help us understand God's creation from the Biblical perspective, including the latest scientific knowledge that affirms the reliability of the creation account described in Genesis. This study runs from September 26 to December 12. For more information see the Details link below.
The Lamb's Supper: The Mass as Heaven on Earth looks at the Holy Eucharist as described by the Book of Revelation. Many of us receive Holy Communion without ever really considering the Sacraments links to the end of the world, the Apocalypse, and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. This study explains that the New Testament shows us that "The Mass--and I mean every single Mass--is heaven on earth." At the celebration of the Holy Eucharist "Now heaven has been unveiled for us with the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ ... Jesus Christ Himself says to you: 'Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with Me' (Rv. 3:20)."
Join us for what proves to be an excellent class.
Creation: A Biblical View St John's will begin a new a study course on September 26, about two of life's greatest questions that affect every aspect of our present culture - who and I and where did I come from? Battle lines have been drawn, and constant struggles continue in the public square and our schools about the central question of origins.
Our children are immersed in an educational culture that teaches we humans are merely animated bags of chemicals. Have you ever wondered if it seems that you need to check your brains at the Church door to be a Bible-believing Christian? If Jesus believed Adam and Eve were real persons, was He deluded? Well, listen up! Join us for a great program!!!
Children's Choir
Children's Choir meets on Tuesday from 4:00 to 5:00 pm in the Choir Room.
